The TaylorMade RocketBallz (RBZ) fairway wood has been developed specifically to help increase ball speed which in turn will allow you to generate more distance, this can be up to 17 yards! Behind the face lies the extraordinary 'Speed pocket' which has been added to dramatically boost the overall head and face flexibility. This promotes an immense increase in distance! The slightly deeper face and a COG that is further forward than traditional fairway woods gives you a more efficient, higher launch angle with less spin for even more distance. The RocketBallz Fairway Woods has been developed with some key aims. TaylorMade wanted to create a fairway wood which had a durable yet flexible sole and face with a deeper face design and a low COG so it interact well with the turf. Made from high strength 455 steel, the powerful face plate has been welded to a cast body. This face allows the club face to be stronger and more durable than standard club faces. The distinctive matte white crown is paired with a devilish black face making it much easier to 'see' the ball at address and aid alignment for extra accuracy and confidence. The head also features some small striking green colour accents to make your club look as good in the bag as it does at address. TaylorMade RocketBallz RBZ fairway heads are shaped more traditionally yet are still extremely forgiving. The larger and deeper face looks more appealing at address and increased face size makes the fairway woods more forgiving. The incorporation of deeper face, low-and-forward CG and RocketBallz technology has allowed TaylorMade to create the first steel fairway wood that reaches USGA/R&A speed limits. Each Rocketballz RBZ fairway comes fitted with a Ozik XCON 5 graphite shaft. Weighing only 50 grams, this incredibly lightweight shaft further promotes an increase in clubhead speed.
